What it is
The Johnson & Starley S00301 is a gas control valve kit supplied complete with a Minisit thermostat. It regulates gas supply and water temperature control on Johnson & Starley Hijan and Eljan water heaters. The kit is the assembly used where the gas valve and its thermostat are replaced together.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The burner fails to light or the appliance will not fire on a call for heat.
