What it is
The Johnson & Starley S00132 is an injector kit used on Janus water heaters and hot water circulators. The injector meters the gas passing into the pilot assembly and burner, holding the gas flow at the rate the appliance was set up to run at. It is supplied as a kit for the Janus 3 and the closely related Janus models listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot flame that is weak, oversized or unstable, or that will not hold after ignition
- Burner flame that is lazy, lifting or burning with an incorrect appearance
- Sooting or discolouration around the pilot assembly or burner area
- Repeated lockouts or failed ignition traced to gas flow at the pilot
- Combustion readings that fall outside the appliance's expected range with no other cause found

- Check the existing injector against the previous number BOS01646N, as earlier Janus 3 installations may carry that marking
