What it is
A rubber lined pipe clip manufactured under the Special Offers brand. It holds pipework in the 53mm to 58mm size range and the rubber lining sits between the pipe and the clip body. Supplied 140 clips to a box.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The rubber lining is perished, split or has come away from the clip body
- The metal band or fixing screw is corroded or has snapped
- The clip no longer grips the pipe and allows movement or vibration
- The lining has hardened and the pipe has started to rattle or rub
- The fixing hole or thread has stripped so the clip cannot be tightened down
Before you order
- Measure the outside diameter of the pipe and confirm it falls within the 53mm to 58mm range
- Check the fixing method and thread size suit the substrate and the existing fixing points
- Confirm the box quantity of 140 clips covers the run you are clipping
- Check the clip and lining material are suitable for the location, for example damp or heated areas
