What it is
The Reznor RI3006592 is an ignition transformer for Reznor cabinet heaters. It supplies the high voltage that produces the ignition spark at the burner electrodes so the burner can light. This transformer is specified for Reznor appliances fitted with Riello 40 burners.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner goes to lockout without lighting
- No spark at the ignition electrodes
- Weak or intermittent spark, giving unreliable light-up
- Visible arcing, burning or physical damage at the transformer body
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance is a Reznor unit fitted with a Riello 40 burner
- Check the part number on the existing transformer against RI3006592 or 3006592
- Inspect the ignition leads and electrodes first, as faults there can mimic transformer failure
- Isolate the electrical supply before carrying out any work
