What it is
The Reznor RI3005787 is a burner gasket for G5 and GS5P burners. It seals the burner against the appliance body, closing the joint so combustion gases are contained at the burner mounting point. It is used on Reznor warm air heaters running these burner assemblies.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The gasket is visibly cracked, brittle or breaking up when the burner is removed
- The gasket face has hardened and no longer compresses to form a seal
- Soot staining or tracking is visible around the burner mounting joint
- Combustion odour or leakage is noticed at the burner joint during a service or commissioning check
- The gasket is torn or deformed after the burner has been removed and refitted
