Regin Flexible Wire Probe REGV40

The Regin REGV40 is a flexible wire probe fitted with a K type thermocouple junction, used for temperature measurement with Regin instrumentation. It is a trade consumable for engineers carrying out temperature checks and diagnostics on heating systems and appliances. The flexible lead allows the sensing tip to be positioned at the point being measured while the instrument is held or set down separately.

• Temperature readings fluctuate or drift when conditions at the measurement point are steady
• The instrument shows an error, open-circuit or out-of-range indication when the probe is connected
• Probe response becomes slow, or the reading no longer settles at a stable value
• Visible damage to the wire, insulation or sensing tip, including kinks, splits or exposed conductors
• Readings disagree consistently with a second, known-good thermometer at the same point
