What it is
The Regin REGQ306 is a wide slot split nut with an 11/32" thread, supplied in a pack of two. It secures a thermocouple into its mounting position, and the split body with a wide slot allows it to be fitted around the thermocouple lead without disconnecting it. It is a consumable fixing within the Regin range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The nut is seized or corroded onto the thermocouple thread
- The flats are rounded off and a spanner no longer grips
- Threads are stripped or cross-threaded so the nut will not tighten
- The thermocouple sits loose in its mounting, giving intermittent flame detection
- The split section is distorted so the nut no longer clamps the thermocouple
