What it is
The Regin REGQ161 is an M8 brass pressure test point, made by Regin for use on heating, gas and pressure-testing connections. It gives a secure, threaded tapping point so a pressure gauge or test instrument can be connected to a system.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Test point will not seal, causing a slow leak when a gauge is connected
- Thread is worn, rounded or cross-threaded
- Brass body is corroded or damaged
- Cap or valve core (where fitted) no longer holds pressure
