What it is
The Regin REGQ158 is an anti-surge ceramic fuse measuring 32 mm in length and rated at 1.6 A. It is a consumable electrical component used across Regin appliance ranges, protecting circuits from overcurrent while tolerating the short inrush currents that would rupture a fast-blow fuse. It is supplied in a pack of two.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance is completely dead and the fuse reads open circuit on a continuity test.
- The ceramic body is cracked, scorched or discoloured.
