What it is
The Regin REGQ150 is an anti-surge ceramic fuse measuring 20mm in length and rated at 1A. It protects the electrical circuits of heating appliances and controls, tolerating brief inrush currents without nuisance blowing. It is supplied in a pack of two.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance is completely dead, with no power, display or response
- The fuse element is visibly broken, blackened or scorched
- A continuity test across the fuse reads open circuit
- A replacement fuse blows again immediately, pointing to a fault elsewhere in the circuit
