What it is
The RBS41 is a burner motor made by Riello for its 40-series (G) and Mectron oil burners. It drives the fan impeller that pushes fresh air into the combustion chamber and also turns the oil pump shaft that provides burner oil pressure.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner fails to start or fan does not turn
- Motor hums but does not run
- Unusual noise or vibration from the motor
- Burner trips to lockout on start-up
