What it is
The R700G is a Continental low-pressure regulator that clips onto a 21mm butane cylinder valve and reduces cylinder pressure to a fixed 29mbar outlet, for feeding caravan, motorhome, camping and BBQ appliances.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Regulator will not clip securely onto the cylinder valve
- Hissing or gas smell from the regulator body
- Reduced or unstable gas flow to the appliance
- Regulator body cracked, dented or corroded
Before you order
- Confirm the cylinder has a 21mm clip-on valve
- Check the appliance is designed to run on butane at 29mbar
- Isolate the gas supply before disconnecting the old regulator, and check the new connection for leaks before use
