What it is
A wall-mounted PIR motion detector made by Robus, providing 180° detection to switch connected lighting on and off automatically. It has a weatherproof IP44 injection-moulded ABS housing suited to outdoor and sheltered indoor use.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Detector doesn't trigger the light despite movement in range
- Light stays on constantly or won't switch off
- Erratic switching not explained by the time delay setting
- Cracked, yellowed or water-damaged housing
Before you order
- Isolate the lighting circuit before removing the old detector
- Check the connected load is within the detector's rating (1000W tungsten / 200W fluorescent, 25W minimum)
- Confirm you need the white finish — a black version (R180-04) is also available
