What it is
The Unicrimp QFGFC25 is a fire-safe cable clip for 25mm-wide trunking, made from annealed (non-corrosive) steel with fold-over tabs. It holds cables in place inside or on PVC trunking so they cannot drop and obstruct escape routes if the trunking is compromised in a fire.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Clip tabs have been folded/unfolded repeatedly and no longer close securely
- Clip is corroded or physically damaged
- Cables have come loose from the trunking run
Before you order
- Confirm your trunking width is 25mm
- Check whether the installation calls for a specific fire-rated standard (e.g. BS 8434-2)
- Isolate the circuit before working inside trunking
