What it is
The Altecnic 3/4 Lockable Isolation Valve is a service valve designed to isolate the connection between an expansion vessel and the system pipework. It carries a lockable head, allowing the valve to be secured in position once set. It is intended for use on Altecnic expansion vessels.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The valve body or spindle shows signs of weeping or corrosion
- The handle turns without altering the flow through the valve
- Water passes through the valve when it is in the closed position
- The lockable head no longer holds its set position
