What it is
A Click (Scolmore) Polar-range 45A double-pole cooker control switch combined with a 13A double-pole switched socket outlet, rated 250V AC. It isolates a cooker or oven circuit while providing a general-purpose 13A socket on the same plate.

- Switch or socket feels loose, cracked, or the fascia has yellowed
- Crackling, buzzing, or a burning smell when operating the switch
- Socket no longer holds a plug securely or fails to switch off
- Scorch marks around the plate
