What it is
A Click (Scolmore) Polar-range architrave switch: a narrow-profile single-gang light switch rated 10AX at 250V AC, designed to fit where a standard-width switch plate won't (such as narrow door architraves), wired for either 1-way or 2-way lighting control.

- Switch rocker feels loose, sticks, or no longer clicks positively
- Crackling or buzzing noise when switching
- Visible cracking, discolouration or scorch marks on the plate
- Light flickers when the switch is touched or moved

- Isolate the lighting circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old switch

- Confirm your back box depth is at least 25mm and is architrave (narrow) width
- Any fixed wiring work should be tested, and certified where notifiable under Part P, by a competent electrician
