What it is
The PRW037 is a 13A 2 gang double pole switched socket from Click Scolmore's Polar range, fitted with a clean earth facility that isolates the earth connection from electrical noise, and inboard rockers.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Rockers feel loose or no longer switch positively
- Socket pins no longer grip a plug securely
- Plate is cracked, discoloured or shows heat marks
- Scorching or pitting visible around the terminals when the accessory is removed
Before you order
- Match the part number printed on your existing socket to PRW037
- Isolate the circuit at the consumer unit before removal or fitting
- Check your back box depth is at least 25mm
- Confirm whether your installation needs the clean earth terminal kept separate from the main earth
