What it is
The PRW024 is a 20A double pole switch with an orange neon indicator from Click Scolmore's Polar range, intended as an isolation point for a fixed water heater installed near a sink or bath, mounted outside the bathroom's electrical safety zones.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Rocker feels loose, sticks, or no longer clicks positively
- Neon no longer lights when the switch is on
- Water heater fails to switch on or off even though the supply is confirmed live
- Visible cracking, discolouration or heat marks on the plate
Before you order
- Match the part number printed on your existing switch to PRW024
- Isolate the water heater circuit at the consumer unit before removal or fitting
- Check your back box depth is at least 25mm
- Confirm the switch position meets bathroom electrical safety zone requirements; consult a qualified electrician if unsure
