What it is
The PRW012 is a 10AX 2 gang 2 way plate switch from Click Scolmore's Polar range of domestic wiring accessories, finished in polar white moulded plastic with a square-edge profile. It provides two independent two-way (or one-way) switch positions on a single plate for standard UK lighting circuits.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The rocker feels loose, sticks, or no longer clicks cleanly
- One or both gangs stop switching the circuit on or off
- Visible cracking, discolouration or heat marks on the plate
- Buzzing, crackling or a burning smell when operated
Before you order
- Confirm you need 2 gang, 2 way switching to match the circuit you're replacing
- Check the back box depth is at least 16mm
- Isolate the lighting circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old switch
- Match your cable sizes to the terminal capacity (4 x 1.5mm² or 2 x 2.5mm²)
