What it is
The PRO747UK is a Fluidmaster Pro side entry fill valve with a 1/2 inch plastic shank, for refilling toilet cisterns and storage tanks after flushing. It mounts through the side wall of the cistern and includes an anti-siphon design to prevent contamination of the water supply.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The cistern refills slowly or not at all after flushing
- Water keeps running or hissing after the cistern is full
- Water hammer or banging in the pipework when the cistern fills
- Visible leaking around the shank or float
Before you order
- Confirm your cistern uses side water entry, not bottom entry
- Check the connection is 1/2 inch
- Isolate the water supply before removing the old valve
- Have a spanner and PTFE tape ready for the shank connection
