What it is
The Anton Pipe Therm is a steel dial thermometer that clips directly onto a pipe using a spring-loaded mechanism, giving a continuous reading of the pipe's external temperature. It suits anything from domestic radiator pipework to larger industrial pipe.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The needle sticks, drifts or no longer returns to ambient temperature when removed
- The dial glass is cracked or the clamp spring has weakened and no longer grips the pipe
- Readings are clearly inconsistent with a known reference temperature
Before you order
- Check your pipe diameter falls within the 53mm limit
- If you need a magnetic-mount version instead of the spring clip, this is not that product; Anton's magnetic equivalent is the Magna Therm
