What it is
The Parkray P130172 is a cast throat plate carrying the 88C designation, listed as a fire spare for Parkray appliances. The throat plate sits above the fire bed and shields the upper part of the appliance from direct flame and heat, while helping to guide flue gases towards the outlet. It is a cast component rather than a fabricated steel plate, which suits the temperature cycling found in solid fuel appliances.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance documentation or existing plate shows the P130172 part number before ordering.
- Check the 88C designation matches the plate being replaced, as throat plate profiles differ between models.
- Confirm no later part number has superseded this one for the appliance in question.
