What it is
The Ravenheat ORI150100 is an O-ring for the primary heat exchanger on compatible Ravenheat boilers. It seals the joint at the heat exchanger connection, preventing water loss from the primary circuit. It is a small consumable part that should be renewed whenever the joint is disturbed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or staining around the primary heat exchanger connection
- Visible cracking, flattening or hardening of the existing O-ring
- Loss of primary circuit pressure with no other obvious cause
- The O-ring has been removed or disturbed during heat exchanger work
- Scale or debris build-up on the sealing face after draining down
