What it is
The Ravenheat ORI150050 is an O-ring for the air/gas mixer junction. It seals the joint at the mixer on Ravenheat CS, HE and WH series boilers, preventing leakage of gas and air at that connection. It is a small consumable seal that should be renewed whenever the junction is disturbed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, flattening or perishing of the O-ring
- Gas smell or signs of leakage around the air/gas mixer junction
- Soot deposits or unstable combustion at the burner
- The O-ring has been disturbed during servicing and will not reseal
- Whistling or unusual noise from the mixer area
