What it is
The OFV1 is Teddington Appliance Controls' combined oil filter and isolation valve for domestic liquid heating fuel (kerosene, biofuel or HVO) storage tanks. It combines a cleanable nylon filter with a shut-off valve in one aluminium body, and is designed for use with Teddington's KBB and KBB/E fire valve range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Reduced or erratic oil flow to the boiler
- Boiler losing pressure or cutting out on low oil supply
- Visible corrosion, cracking or oil weeping from the filter bowl or valve body
- Isolation lever stiff, seized, or not shutting off fully

- Isolate the oil supply before removing the old unit
