What it is
The Niglon NFK1 is a boxed kit of assorted miniature glass fuses, manufactured to BS 1362, giving an electrician or maintenance engineer a spread of common fuse ratings in one pack rather than needing to stock full boxes of each individual rating.
Signs this part needs replacing
- A fuse has blown and needs replacing with the correct rating
- No spare fuse of the right rating is held in stock
- An appliance repeatedly blows its fuse (have the underlying fault checked before refitting)
Before you order
- Confirm the fuse type and exact rating needed before fitting
- Never fit a higher-rated fuse than the equipment specifies
- If a fuse keeps blowing, have the circuit or appliance checked rather than repeatedly replacing the fuse
