What it is
The BG NBS44-01 is a 4-gang, 2-way, 20A 16AX rocker light switch from BG's Nexus Metal brushed steel range, allowing four separate lighting circuits to be switched, each with 2-way switching so a second switch can control the same light from another location.
Signs this part needs replacing
- A rocker feels loose, stiff, or no longer clicks positively
- The light flickers, or doesn't fully turn on or off, when the switch is operated
- Scorch marks, discolouration, or a burning smell around the plate
- Visible cracking or looseness in the brushed steel plate
Before you order
- Confirm the gang count (4) and that the switching is 2-way, not 1-way or intermediate
- Isolate the lighting circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old switch
- Check the wall box depth is at least 25mm
