What it is
The BG NBS15-01 is a 10A triple-pole fan isolator switch from BG's Nexus Metal range, finished in brushed steel. It is fitted to safely isolate an extractor fan circuit — commonly required in bathrooms and wet rooms — so the fan can be worked on without leaving live wiring exposed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Isolator switch does not fully cut power to the fan
- Rocker switch feels loose, sticks, or fails to click
- Fan will not run even though the circuit is confirmed live
- Visible scorch marks or discolouration on the faceplate
- Cracked or chipped faceplate
