What it is
The Grant MPCBS67 is a heating/store switch used on Grant Vortex Pro combi condensing boilers. It controls the changeover between the heating circuit and the stored hot water circuit on combi models. This switch is specified for VTX Combi units manufactured after September 2008.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler does not switch between heating and stored hot water
- Domestic hot water runs cold or fails to reach temperature while heating works normally
- Heating demand is not met while the store circuit continues to run
- Intermittent or erratic changeover between the two circuits
- Stored hot water temperature is not maintained as expected
