What it is
The Grant MPCBS33/A is a diaphragm kit for the diverter valve assembly fitted to Grant Combi boilers. The diaphragm responds to domestic hot water demand and moves the diverter valve between heating and hot water operation. It is supplied as a kit for servicing and repair of the valve.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water when a tap is opened, with the boiler failing to fire on hot water demand
- Hot water runs intermittently or turns cold as the diverter valve fails to hold position
- Heating runs when only hot water is called for, or hot water when only heating is called for
- Visible splits, perishing or distortion on the diaphragm
- Water weeping from the diverter valve body
