What it is
The MIX150150 is an air/gas mixer manufactured by Ravenheat for its HE range of condensing boilers. It blends incoming gas with combustion air at the correct ratio before the mixture reaches the burner. Correct mixing is essential for stable ignition and efficient combustion.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite or locks out repeatedly
- Unstable, lifting or yellow flame at the burner
- Whistling or popping noises from the combustion area
- Rising CO readings or a failed combustion analysis
- Soot deposits or discolouration around the burner
Before you order
- Confirm your boiler model matches one of the fitments listed above.
- Check the part number on the existing mixer against MIX150150.
- Confirm whether your appliance is the natural gas or LPG version, as both appear in the fitment list.
