What it is
The Valor Baffle Plate, part number MF09020, is a boiler component supplied by Valor as part of the Valor Group spare parts range. A baffle plate sits within the heat exchanger path of a boiler, where it directs the flow of hot combustion gases across the heat exchange surfaces. It is a serviceable item that may need attention during routine boiler maintenance or heat exchanger work.
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and serial details on the boiler data plate before ordering, as baffle plates are model-specific.
- Check that part number MF09020 matches the number listed in your appliance's documentation or parts list.
- Verify the position and quantity of baffle plates required for your particular boiler before fitting, as the heat exchanger layout varies between models.
- Allow the appliance to cool fully and isolate the gas and electrical supplies before any work on the heat exchanger.
