What it is
The Main Burner, part number MCB3105, is a Morco Products component intended for the FEB-24 series of gas water heaters. It carries the burner assembly that delivers the gas/air mixture to the combustion chamber, so it sits at the centre of the appliance's heat output and combustion performance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The flame is uneven, lifting, or only partially established across the burner
- Sooting, yellowing or a visibly disturbed flame pattern during operation
- The burner surface is corroded, cracked, distorted or physically damaged
- Reduced heat output or poor hot water performance from the appliance
- Repeated combustion faults traced to the burner assembly
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model matches one of the FEB-24 variants listed above
- Check the existing burner against part number MCB3105 before ordering
- Gas-carrying components must be fitted and commissioned by a competent, qualified engineer
- Inspect the burner seating, injectors and combustion area for related faults while access is available
