What it is
The CH Drain Valve is a central heating isolation valve manufactured by Morco Products. It fits the FEB-24E family of Morco gas boilers and is used to drain down the heating circuit when the appliance is being serviced or emptied.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water weeping or dripping from the valve body or outlet with the valve closed
- The valve spindle is stiff, seized or will not turn by hand
- The valve fails to hold water when draining down, or will not drain the circuit properly
- Scale, corrosion or staining around the valve body or its connections

- Check the part number marking on the existing valve against MCB2180 or MU0886100
- Inspect the surrounding pipework and connections for corrosion before fitting
- Ensure the heating circuit is fully drained and the appliance is isolated before work begins
