What it is
This is the exhaust (flue) fan assembly for Powrmatic's LNVx range of gas-fired unit heaters. It draws combustion products through the heat exchanger and out to the flue, and is supplied complete with its mounting bracket.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Unit heater fails to purge or ignite due to a proving fault on the flue fan
- Unusual noise, vibration or grinding from the flue side of the heater
- Fan runs intermittently or has stopped running altogether
- Visible wear, corrosion or a damaged bracket
Before you order
- Confirm your LNVX model size (15, 20, 25, 30, 40 or 45) before ordering, as the LNVX35 is not covered by this part
- Isolate electrical power before removing the existing fan
- Any work on the heater's gas or flue system must be carried out by a Gas Safe registered engineer
