What it is
The Diffuser 8.0 X2.5 XS8879 IT4 is a diffuser supplied under the Oil Spares brand and listed against the Nu-Way oil boiler range. Its function is to shape and spread the air stream at the burner head so that combustion air mixes correctly with the oil spray. It is identified by the part number XS8879 and the markings 8.0 x 2.5 and IT4.
Before you order
- Check that the part number on the existing diffuser matches XS8879 and the 8.0 x 2.5 IT4 markings, as diffusers are matched to a specific burner set-up.
- Confirm the burner is a Nu-Way oil unit covered by the Oil Spares range before ordering.
- Note the diffuser position and orientation during removal so it can be refitted the same way.
