What it is
The Kosnic KLED12CRD/4P-W40 is a 12W LED replacement for 4-pin GR10q 2D fluorescent lamps, with an integrated microwave motion sensor and photocell built in. It is designed to retrofit directly into existing 2D/DD fittings with little or no rewiring, for corridor and stairwell lighting that only runs at full output when needed.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Lamp fails to strike, flickers, or only glows dimly
- Sensor no longer detects movement, or stays permanently on or off
- Noticeably reduced light output compared to a new lamp
- Blackening visible at the lamp ends through the diffuser
