What it is
The Biasi KI1043114 is an o-ring gasket with a 17.04mm bore and 3.53mm cross-section, used to seal a joint within the water-carrying or gas-carrying circuit of Biasi gas boilers. It is a small consumable seal fitted between mating components, and its dimensions are critical to a correct, leak-free joint. The part supersedes code KG2003143.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible cracking, flattening or hardening of the o-ring
- Weeping or dripping at the joint the o-ring seals
- Traces of water staining or scale around the sealing face
- The o-ring is missing, split or deformed after the joint has been disturbed
- Persistent pressure loss traced to the sealed connection
