The Baxi 247384 is a genuine front ignition (spark) electrode that generates the spark to start combustion in the burner.

- Boiler fails to ignite, or ignition is delayed or intermittent
- Repeated ignition lockouts
- Electrode tip is visibly worn or pitted, or the ceramic insulator is cracked
