What it is
Part 248065 is the rubber diaphragm inside the 3-way diverter valve of Baxi, Main and Potterton combi boilers. It flexes to switch the water flow between the central heating and hot water circuits.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Loss of hot water pressure or flow at the taps
- Heating running when hot water is drawn, or the reverse
- Valve fails to switch over cleanly between circuits
