What it is
The IT800 (also listed by the maker as IT800WIFI) is a smart thermostat made by Salus Controls for controlling heating and cooling systems. It pairs with a wall-mounted receiver carrying a single volt-free relay, and is controlled via the Salus Premium Lite app over Wi-Fi, with local control also available over Zigbee.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Thermostat won't hold charge or won't connect to Wi-Fi/Zigbee
- Display unresponsive or app connection drops repeatedly
- Heating or cooling fails to respond to the thermostat's calls
Before you order
- Confirm whether you need the wall receiver/relay unit as well as the thermostat head
- Check your system is single-zone and compatible with a volt-free relay
- Have a competent heating engineer install and commission the receiver wiring
