What it is
The Stag IS4P32 is a 32A, 4-pole rotary isolator switch in an enclosed, IP65-rated housing, built from flame-retardant material to IEC 60947 and UKCA/CE approved. The rotary handle is lockable and the isolator only opens in the OFF position, giving safe load-break isolation of a circuit.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Rotary handle feels loose, stiff, or fails to lock in the OFF position
- Enclosure lid or seal is cracked, letting in moisture or dust
- Visible arcing, scorch marks or a burning smell around the terminals
- Switch no longer fully isolates the circuit when turned to OFF
