This is an industrial immersion heater assembly rated at 9kW on a 3 phase supply, with a 1.3/4 connection and a 400mm element. It is built with a titanium element and supplied with a red IP65-rated cover and twin thermostats for temperature control and limit protection. It is intended for use in industrial immersion applications where a three-phase, high-output heating element is required.

• No hot water or a clear drop in heating output from the immersion
• The element repeatedly trips the circuit breaker or RCD when energised
• Visible corrosion, pitting or swelling on the titanium element sheath
• Water weeping from the immersion boss or around the head gasket
• Thermostat failing to cut out, cutting out early, or the safety limit operating repeatedly

• Confirm the immersion boss connection size matches your cylinder or vessel tapping
• Check that the supply available is 3 phase and that the circuit and protective device are suitable for a 9kW load
• Verify there is sufficient internal clearance in the cylinder for a 400mm element
• Confirm the thermostat configuration and cover rating suit the installation environment
