What it is
The front section complete is the forward half of the heat exchanger assembly used on Ideal Commercial Harrier boilers. It forms the primary heat transfer surface where combustion gases pass across the casting before leaving the appliance, and it is supplied as a complete front section rather than a bare casting. This is an Ideal-manufactured component carrying part number 075223.

- Kettling or rumbling noises from the heat exchanger during firing
- Localised overheating or repeated high-limit trips on the appliance
- Visible corrosion, pitting or scale build-up on the section face
- Water weeping from the section joint or around the sealing faces
- Flue gas readings drifting outside the expected combustion figures
