What it is
The ignition lead, part number ICB313001, is a Morco Products component used on GB series LPG boilers. It carries the high-voltage spark from the ignition source to the burner electrode so the gas is lit on a demand for heat or hot water. It is supplied as a single lead for direct fitment to the listed appliance models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fails to light, or lights only intermittently, with no spark at the electrode.
- Clicking is audible at the ignition unit but the burner does not ignite.
- The lead shows cracking, chafing or heat damage to its insulation.
- The lead terminal is corroded, loose or no longer grips the electrode securely.
- Sparking is visible tracking to earth along the lead instead of at the electrode tip.
