Altecnic Reflex Heating Expansion Vessel HV100C

The Reflex 100 litre Heating Expansion Vessel is a sealed-system expansion vessel supplied under the Altecnic name. It is a diaphragm vessel designed to accommodate the increased volume of water as it heats in a sealed heating system. Its 100 litre nominal capacity makes it suitable for larger domestic and light commercial installations where a smaller vessel would be unable to absorb the system's expansion volume.

• Water discharges from the pressure relief valve each time the system heats up
• System pressure rises sharply when hot and falls away again when cold
• Water or moisture appears at the air charging point on the vessel
• The vessel feels heavy or sounds full of water when tapped or shaken
• The boiler or system loses pressure repeatedly and needs frequent topping up

• Confirm the system volume and the expansion capacity required, as a 100 litre vessel is normally specified for larger systems
