What it is
The 7 Bar 15mm x 1/2'' With 3/4 Adaptor T&P Relief Valve (TPR15) is a temperature and pressure relief valve from Popular Cylinder. It is intended for cylinder applications and forms part of the Popular Cylinder Spares cold water inlet controls range. The valve relieves excess temperature or pressure to help maintain safe operating conditions.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water discharging from the cylinder tundish or discharge pipe during heating or hot water draw-off
- The valve continually weeps or drips from the outlet
- The valve fails to reseat after operating, leaving a persistent leak
- Discharge from the relief valve coincides with pressure or temperature fluctuations
- Scale or debris around the valve seat prevents a tight seal
