What it is
The 3 bar pressure reducing valve is a cold water inlet control component manufactured for Popular Cylinder Spares. It reduces incoming mains pressure to a steady 3 bar at the cylinder inlet, protecting the unvented cylinder and its associated safety devices. Connections are 3/4" female x female.

- Outlet pressure at the cylinder inlet reads above or below 3 bar
- Water hammer or noisy pipework when outlets are opened
- Dripping or weeping from the valve body or its connections
- The cylinder pressure relief valve discharges during normal heating cycles
- Inconsistent or reduced flow at hot water outlets
