RWC 2.1/8 Bar Compact Inlet Control Group

The RWC 2.1/8 Bar Compact Inlet Control Group is a cold water inlet control assembly for unvented hot water cylinders. It combines the pressure reducing valve, strainer and expansion relief functions into a single compact manifold. It is fitted on the cold water supply to the cylinder to regulate incoming mains pressure and protect the cylinder and its safety devices.

• Reduced or erratic hot water flow at the taps, often caused by scale or debris blocking the strainer or reducing valve seat
• Water weeping or dripping from the valve body, relief port or connections
• Discharge from the expansion relief valve with no fault at the cylinder
• Inlet pressure at the cylinder drifting above or below the set pressure, causing poor performance or repeated safety valve operation
• Noisy or vibrating operation at the inlet group when taps are opened

• Confirm your cylinder make and model against the fit list above
• Check the pressure rating of the existing inlet group matches the replacement
• Inspect the pipework connections and available space, as the compact body must suit the installation
• Confirm whether a balanced cold water take-off is required for your system
